Christoph Heller, born in 1947, devotes himself to graphic art and lives with his wife in Sweden.
Heller's style is characterized by contrasts: floral elements like stems and fruits meet hard, technical elements like mathematical formulas. Clean lines and bold colors combine with completely different shapes to create surprising works of art. The origins of his art can be found in the zeitgeist and pop art of the 60s.
Growing up in Osnabrück, Christoph Heller studied social pedagogy and then worked in the mission of sailors and youth work. He also appeared as an actor in several short films and cultivated a friendship with experimental filmmaker Werner Nekes.
Since 2009, Heller has been living in Sweden and has fully devoted himself to art again.
